Provider of print inspection solutions AVT (Advanced Vision Technology) has announced its transformation into an independent company.
The move sees AVT transition away from Danaher, which acquired the company in 2017 and subsequently integrated it into Esko. As part of the acquisition agreement, AVT will retain its partnership with both Esko and X-Rite, allowing the companies to continue to collaborate closely.
With more than 30 years of experience with inline and 100% inspection solutions, AVT is now returning to its roots as a standalone brand. The company said it is fully dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in print inspection technology, and its new independence will allow it to focus exclusively on its core expertise and capitalise on its potential for growth.
The launch of the new AVT follows the company’s acquisition by Porat Itay Holdings. Co-owner and new CEO Roy Porat says the company will deliver “the same great AVT, now focusing on what we do best—print inspection, process control and quality assurance.”
Mr Porat, who served as AVT’s president from 2020-2022, added that this is a new chapter in the company’s history. According to Mr Porat, AVT is fully committed to “reinforcing its leadership” in 100% defect detection, proven ROI-driven solutions, cutting-edge AI-powered inspection technologies, and colour measurement technologies, ensuring that its customers benefit from the highest level of precision, efficiency, and innovation to help drive their own businesses.
Mr Porat concluded: “We are incredibly excited for what the future holds. As this new chapter begins, we look forward to unveiling our latest innovations to help customers in pursuit of a new era of print inspection excellence.”
