Manufacturer of flexo carton and label presses Edale has increased its presence in the EMEA markets with the appointment of Gary Roberts as head of sales for those regions.
The company said the appointment reinforces its commitment to provide greater engagement with customers on a global basis and is set to drive its growth in the European, Middle East, and Africa markets.
Mr Roberts has worked for almost three decades in the packaging industry. He most recently held a leadership position at W H Leary Company, supplier of adhesive application solutions in the folding carton industry.
James Boughton, managing director of Edale, said Mr Roberts’ appointment will aid the company as it refocuses its regional sales operations to drive further growth across EMEA. Leaning on his experience of B2B machine manufacturing and understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, Mr Roberts has already made a positive impact to Edale, stated Mr Boughton.

Mr Roberts is the third recent appointment as Edale has moved to bolster its sales presence, following the appointments of Ryan Barrett, head of sales for the APAC region, and Dave Boyle, service sales manager.
