Bobst is set to host a CI flexo themed webinar on 21 November 2024 which the company says will provide insights into the market; bring together ‘expert’ voices in CI flexo to answer questions from packaging businesses; and give attendees an opportunity to witness its latest innovations.
Scheduled to take place at 12:00PM CET (11:00 AM GMT), the free virtual event will showcase Bobst’s ‘leading’ CI flexo press technology, the Vision CI, a 10-colour CI flexo press designed to deliver efficiency and performance for all production lengths, on a range of substrates. In addition, the company will also demonstrate its oneECG (extended colour gamut) technology on the Vision CI. Bobst explained that oneECG enables convertors to achieve much of the Pantone book using up to seven colours, ‘significantly’ reducing spot colour ink usage, changeover times, and waste. Those attending the seminar will see a live demonstration of these solutions from the company’s Bielefeld Packaging Center.
Also to be discussed are Bobst Connect, the cloud-based digital platform that offers real-time production data and insight-driven decision-making; smartGPS fully automated job setup, with registration and impression settings generated automatically offline at the plate mounting stage; and the digital inspection table, which provides real-time visual depictions to match output with digital proofs.
Bobst concluded that its November webinar will offer an opportunity to stay ahead of industry trends and challenges and will also show convertors the benefits from aligning their operations with the Bobst ethos of innovating for a sustainable future in flexible packaging production.
