Hamillroad Software, supplier of screening solutions, has partnered with Hybrid Software to integrate its Bellissima DMS flexographic screening technology with Hybrid’s Cloudflow enterprise production workflow.
The partnership follows a spike in global demand to make Bellissima available through Cloudflow, offering trade shops, packaging converters and brand owners the opportunity to adopt a ‘leading’ solution. Pierre Hammond, Hamillroad’s commercial director, added that the partnership will allow Cloudflow users to access all of Bellissima’s product features. The integration is expected to be available in Q3 this year.
Hamillroad explained that Bellissima’s latest technology delivers ‘unparalleled’ screening capabilities, including solid ink densities on traditional LAMs flexo plates, as well as ‘exceptionally’ smooth fades-to-zero. The announcement of the Hybrid Software integration coincides with the release of final new product features in Bellissima Next Generation, including support for Kongsberg cutting tables and new screens developed and optimised for water-based inks.
Jane Petrucci, head of marketing at Hamillroad, described the release of the Next-Generation eco-system as an important milestone for the company. She continued, ‘New key integrations with hardware and software used in the flexo industry has opened additional opportunities for Bellissima across the world. We’re excited about the future and keen to speak with packaging converters and brand owners wanting to elevate the impact of their packaging.’
Hamillroad has been partnering with Asahi Photoproducts at drupa 2024, highlighting the use of its Bellissima screening software with Asahi’s AWP CleanFlat water-washable plate – the first use of Bellissima DMS with water-wash technology.
