The Flexographic Technical Association’s Forum & Infoflex 2024 conference and exhibition have concluded in the US, with the FTA hailing the events’ focus on flexo quality, in line with the theme of ‘Your Quality Is Our Concern’.
Taking place in Kansas City from 5 to 8 May, the shows provided visitors with the opportunity to visit more than 180 exhibitor booths, engage in educational content and network with printers, suppliers, converters and brand owners involved in the flexo supply chain. The Infoflex exhibition featured Innovation Central, with discussions designed to help visitors streamline operations, implement key products and solutions, identify new market opportunities, and immerse themselves in a virtual printer experience.
Forum content focused on topics that the FTA says ‘continue to be essential to modern-day flexographic printing’, covering the entire gamut of the flexographic supply chain. Among the topics were sessions such as The Voice of the Customer, Quality in the Pressroom, Redefining the Limits of Flexographic Printing, Consumable Trends, and Nuts and Bolts of Your Flexographic Workflow.
‘Our conference theme and discussion topics were developed to address how flexography impacts consumers’ perception of brands,’ said Forum 2024 co-chair Kariahlyn Lindsey, from Accredo Packaging Inc. ‘The services, packaging, and technology developed define how the consumer perceives the freshness and quality of the products. The 2024 sessions were tailored to celebrate our combined efforts and experience in support of our industry.’
The FTA next heads to Las Vegas for the association’s Fall Technical Conference and Infoflex exhibition, taking place 7 to 9 October.
