API Foilmakers, specialist in the field of transfer technologies with leading products in hot stamping foils, cold foils, digital, pigment and speciality foils, with its parent company Aldus, is to acquire United Foils Europe, comprised of United Transfer Technologies, Pack Vision, United Foils, Starfoil Technology Netherlands and Newfoil Machines.
‘The addition of an excellent product range and world leading conversion facilities will allow us to better serve our customers and accelerate growth,’ stated Kenny Gilmour, managing director of API Foilmakers.
With its newly augmented distribution network, the business said it will be able to provide customers with an enhanced product range, excellent service and technical support. Further benefits will include security of supply, short lead times, rapid product development and customisation capabilities, according to API.
Once the acquisition is finalised, the combined foil companies United Transfer Technologies, Pack Vision and United Foils will be rebranded as API Transfer Technologies.
