The second annual Women of Flexo Conference is to take place this month, held at Comexi’s facility in Miami, Florida. The conference will include seminars and workshops, networking events, and a flexo press demo and Comexi tour.
The goal for the conference is to promote women in the flexo industry and provide a variety of opportunities to work within the world of flexography. The conference spans across two days on the 13 and 14 March.
A key time to look out for if attending is the Comexi flexo press demonstration and tour on day two. The demonstration will show insightful information to attendees in a visual way on how a flexo machine works.
Other important topics to look out for on the second day are a seminar which focuses on the value of sponsorship, mentorship, and coaching, and the keynote of the conference, a speech by Cathy Newstrick from American Bankers Association focusing on how to develop a strategic perspective,
The conference will have sessions from women already in the industry, with names such as Alyssa Denney from Graphic Packaging International, Rachel Acevedo from Ace Media, Kara Wojnowski from Biorigins, and Emily Kalshoven from MacDermid Graphic Solutions, all set to share their knowledge to attendees.
