Hamillroad Software has announced the ‘Bellissima World Tour’, taking its digitally modulated screening technology of that name to venues and events across the world over the next 12 months. The tour will visit 15 cities in 12 countries across the world and has begun already, with a visit to Japan, where it is partnering with Asahi Photoproducts.
The company said the aim of the tour is to transform the image of flexo printing, through collaborations with partners and customers. It will include local and international exhibitions, as well as private flexo events for trade shops, printers, converters and brand owners.
Demonstrations of the technology will utilise Bellissima DMS’s AI-generated ‘hero animals’, which were introduced last year as part of Hamillroad’s marketing for LabelExpo Europe. The animals are described as perfect subjects to showcase Bellissima, featuring great detail, fades, shadows and texture – all characteristics that the company says are difficult to print in flexo with traditional screening methods.
Jane Petrucci, head of marketing for Hamillroad, said, ‘Bellissima’s World Tour will provide trade shops, printers, and converters with the opportunity to explore the commercial opportunities that exist for their businesses. We have been inundated with interest across the globe and we are looking forward to welcoming new customers to the global Bellissima network.’
While full details of events, venues and dates are yet to be released, Hamillroad said that the tour will incorporate drupa in Düsseldorf, FTA Infoflex (Kansas City) and Labelexpo Americas (Chicago), as well as stops in Toronto, Atlanta, Girona in Italy, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Delhi in India and Shanghai.
