Corrugated converter Newtown Packaging in the UK has installed a new Baysek C190 automatic die cutter, which it believes will ‘bring a wealth of opportunity and growth’.
The machine has a maximum sheet size of 1400 x 1900mm, and a minimum of 500 x 500mm, with a maximum cycle speed of 1800 sheets per hour, and automatic waste stripping. Manufacturer Baysek Machines calls the system ‘the most versatile die cutter on the market’, capable of cutting applications such as boxes, partitions, bakery & pizza, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Options include extended out feed conveyor, solid/thin board assist and additional unload suction cups. Baysek says the C190 will help Newtown Packaging enter new markets and industries, as well as helping bring back previously outsourced work.
