UV LED curing specialist Integration Technology is rebranding to IST Intech in order to align the company with the wider IST group brand.
IST Metz is a mechanical engineering company with international operations, based in Nürtingen, Germany. For more than 40 years, the company has been producing systems for the curing of inks, varnishes, silicones, adhesives, resins and other materials. The IST Metz group added Integration Technology to its ranks in 2015, meaning the group could offer a full product portfolio of high-performance UV lamp and UV LED systems, supplemented by hot air/infrared drying systems and the company’s Excimer technology.
Now to be known as IST Intech, the newly named business and IST Metz will continue to operate in their respective market sectors whilst collaborating to develop future product lines and expand into new curing applications. Both companies are working to develop the next generation of sustainable UV LED curing systems and have commenced building a new state-of-the-art R&D laboratory, the LEDLab. Investment in R&D will be targeted at furthering the sustainability of UV LED curing technology and attaining even higher levels of efficiency, ‘making UV LED attractive to new markets seeking to reduce their carbon footprint.’
