VPK Packaging has appointed Jeremy Anderson as its new managing director for the UK and Ireland, as the business pushes ahead with the next stage of its growth strategy.
Mr Anderson joins VPK from DS Smith where he held various senior management positions, including sector director with responsibility for five business units across 21 locations, and latterly for the past 18 months as programme director.
In his new role, Mr Anderson will be responsible for the seven VPK sites across the UK and Ireland. The company noted his ‘extensive experience and knowledge’ of the corrugated and paper packaging sector will be key to his leadership as the business continues to focus on delivering the sustainable corrugated products customers demand.
He is to report to Wim Messiaen, head of the corrugated packaging division at VPK Group, who said, ‘We are pleased to have appointed Jeremy to this key role and are excited to work with him as he builds on the good foundations already in place in the UK and Ireland.’
Mr Anderson concluded, ‘[I] look forward to continuing to build the success of VPK and lead the team into our next phase of growth.’
