DuPont Cyrel Solutions is implementing an Energy Surcharge to be charged for every square meter/square foot of Cyrel plate material sold, effective April 15th, 2022.
A statement from the company, ‘The DuPont Cyrel Solutions team continues to mitigate strong inflationary cost impacts. However, the energy surcharge is now necessary to mitigate the steep rise in oil and gas costs and its impact on raw material and logistics inflation to ensure we can continue to provide reliable product supply.
‘The Energy Surcharge will be applied to orders effective April 15th, 2022 or as contracts allow. It will be based on the prior 3-month average of brent crude oil price for each month of orders. The surcharge will adjust with changes to oil price to address this cost challenge in a way that is fair to our customers and partners.’
