Supplier of flexible packaging solutions, Wipak UK, has maintained its ‘AA’ BRCGS (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards) grade following an annual accreditation audit at its Welshpool site.
‘As a trusted supplier to a wide-range of food manufacturers across the UK and Europe, we are delighted to have been recognised for our quality excellence by maintaining an ‘AA’ grade certification for Packaging Materials, which we passed with no non-conformances and no observations raised,’ said Terry Woodfine, QHSE manager at Wipak UK.
‘This is a fantastic result which not only demonstrates our commitment to aligning our standards with those of our customers, but it gives them the confidence and security that they are working alongside a business which continues to operate at the highest possible quality standards despite the difficulties of the pandemic.
‘The last year has been a challenging time for all those in the food supply chain and the audit result is great recognition of the hard work and dedication our team has shown.’
The BRCGS Standard for Packaging Materials provides a robust framework for all types of packaging manufacturers to assist them in the production of safe packaging materials and to manage product quality to meet customers’ requirements, while maintaining legal compliance.
