A B Graphic International (ABG) has reached a milestone 2000th installation with Cleveland, Ohio-based Omni Systems purchasing a Vectra turret rewinder.
Omni was initially looking for a turret rewinder that had the capability of running wound-in rolls along with eliminating tail tie gluing. The company made its first order in March 2013 and currently own 16 Vectra ECTR rewinders, two that were ordered in July 2019, but only installed recently due to COVID-19.
Dave Lawson, director of ABG’s Middleton-on-the-Wolds turret rewinder production site, said, ‘Reaching 2,000 Vectra orders is a significant achievement in 25 years. The landmark reflects our global reach and the excellent professional relationships we have developed with key customers, and without our loyal and dedicated team at ABG we would not be celebrating this milestone.
‘We now look forward to innovating and updating the designs so we can provide our customers with increased efficiencies for the future. We are particular proud that Omni was our 2000th order, which was especially fitting given our long association.’
