OPM Group has installed a BGM Elite Multiflex, multiple substrate inspection /slitter/ rewinder, which takes the company’s number of BGM finishing machines to seven.
This second generation BGM Elite Multiflex is capable of finishing a wide variety of supported and unsupported films, plastics, foils, papers, self-adhesive papers and light carton substrates.
The machine is fitted with a 1 metre capacity unwind, it is 100% servo-controlled and has a 100% roll scheduling inspection module with slow-down festoon, error placement and waste rewind take-up unit, fitted with our very latest automated slitting technology, with automated web slitting scanning function and job barcode scanning facility, duplex rewinds with BGM’s own intelligent taper tension control. The modular design can be reconfigured for a variety of specialist finishing applications such as booklets, ticket & tags, wrap and colour chip labels.
