Seala has installed a Comexi SL2 Laminator as it looks to move into the food packaging sector.
The French lamination specialist, based just outside Angoulême, supplies printing companies and cardboard manufacturers throughout France.
‘The know-how of Comexi, in general, and the technical characteristics of this laminator in particular, are ideal in carrying out our work specifications,’ explained Seala manager Laurent Bisson.
‘The customisation of the SL2 was decisive in the decision-making process. Several design modifications have been made and additional options have been added, allowing for it to be successful on a very large range of materials and weights.’
The Comexi SL2 design is intended for short and medium runs on a variety of materials. It has been designed to be simple to operate and boasts an applicator head design, consisting of complete motorisation, the use of metering sleeves as well as the option of incorporating automatic change turrets.
