Indonesian flexible packaging manufacturer Prima Jaya Eratama has installed a Comexi F4 press and a Comexi ML1 MC laminator at its facility in Tangerang.
The two companies have worked together since April 2012, when Prima Jaya Eratama purcahsed a Comexi slitter. The Indonesian company now runs two Comexi printing presses, two Comexi laminators and two Comexi slitters.
The F4 is an eight colour press with a maximum speed of 300m/min. It boasts a print width of 670 – 870mm and can be equipped with a control system which includes fully automatic pressure adjustment and a PDF file based registration system. Meanwhile the new Comexi ML1 MC operates at 450m/min and allows for ‘the structural realisation of three layers, heat seals, coatings to register, such as matt or gloss varnishes, cold seal, and laminations without solvents, among many other possibilities.’
‘Customer satisfaction is very important to us, therefore a machine’s capability, in terms of technology and output in a manufacturing company, is vital,’ said owner Tjen Fa Sen. ‘Comexi has expanded to South East Asia and technical help will give more prestige to our company.’
Established in 1994, to produce poly and shopping bags, Prima Jaya Eratama entered flexible packaging industry in 1998 and now operates with a staff of over 500.
