German die manufacturer Wink has expanded into the packaging sector with the acquisition of steel rule die maker Bandstahlschnitte Jeurink and its subsidiary ImaPack.
Both Wink and Bandstahlschnitte Jeurink are based in Neuenhaus, indeed the former emerged from the latter in 1989 when Wilfried Jeurink left his father’s business to found Wink.
‘Through their shared history, people know and appreciate each other,’ said Wink managing director Alan de Natris. ‘Both companies have developed outstandingly and enjoy an excellent reputation. We and our customers will both benefit from the bundling of decades of know-how in the field of cutting technologies.’
‘The continued existence of my company and the future of my employees had top priority for me,’ added Holder Jeurink, previous owner of Jeurink and ImaPack. ‘I have followed Wink’s continuous development and know the sustainable philosophy of the new owners. In a way, what belongs together is now growing together again.’
