Kingfisher Labels has invested in its second Edale FL3 press, its eighth Edale overall. The new press is due to be installed in the first quarter of 2019 and comes less than three months after the installation of the company’s first FL3.

The six colour, 350mm wide press is specified for high-quality labels and meant to support the Bristol-based business in its quest for continued growth.

‘Working with Kingfisher on these two machines has been a pleasure,’ said Edale’s sales and marketing manager Louise Bailey.  ‘The addition of the modular FL3’s will open up new doors for Kingfisher, not only will it help reduce set-up times, minimise waste and increase production speed it will also give them the highest print quality. Our partnership with Kingfisher began in 2011, and since that point, every press bought by Kingfisher has been supplied by Edale. We are very proud and honoured to be an integral part of Kingfisher’s success story.’

‘Edale has been our supplier now for many years,’ added Kingfisher’s production director Karl Jackson. ‘Their continued investment in design and automation has meant as we grow Edale has the correct solution for us as a business and so we do not need to look elsewhere. The addition of two high quality presses in a matter of six months will allow us to serve our expanding customer base with the most up to date technology on the market.’
