The VisionCut 1.6 PR will run at Swanline’s Staffordshire site

To provide increased on-site capacity Swanline Print has invested in a Bobst VisionCut 1.6 PR Autoplaten  die-cutter with Power Register.

The installation will enable the company to meet growing customer demand for high quality shelf-ready and luxury packaging, and is part of a wider programme of investment to respond to anticipated business growth during the next five years.

Simon Kirby, technical director, said, ‘The market is demanding high quality, speed and accuracy when paying for premium packaging, therefore we must continue to invest in machinery and equipment that delivers for our customers. We feel this investment ticks all those boxes.’

The VisionCut 1.6 PR will run at Swanline’s Staffordshire site alongside the company’s other die cutters: a Klett Cobra automatic die-cutter, a Nuri Sol large format semi auto, and two hand platens.

Investment plans for the future include a review of litho mounting capabilities.
