Integration Technology Ltd (ITL) and IST have released a retrofit UV LED curing system for narrow-width flexo and offset presses.
LEDcure SCR has been designed to meet the needs of label and packaging printers transiting into UV LED curing using either new or existing presses spanning multiple print technologies. It is a compact and robust high-performance platform that can be freely scaled (3.5-21.25 inches) and configured to suit all requirements of narrow width web flexo and offset presses.
Integration is simple and quick, and a new design facility, Xchange, enables fast onsite exchange of LED arrays, with maximum press uptime.
This latest collaboration between ITL and IST features the jointly developed XT8 UV LED booster, enabling up to 30% more output than other systems with a five year warranty attached, and its STEADYcool water cooling feature ensuring quieter, cooling to within 5°C and consistent UV output.
ITL and IST will be attending Labelexpo Americas, with LEDcure SCR on display at booth 5606.
