Panprint, in New Zealand, has successfully installed a customised Rotocontrol RSC slitter/rewinder finishing machine.
The new RCS is built with multiple web paths to manage different materials and processes, along with methods that help to reduce waste. The finishing machine includes a vacuum splice table, multiple slitting cartridges, die cutting stations and is integrated with the Rotocontrol DRM semi-automatic turret, capable of operating in dual rewind mode as well as turret.
All of these features offer Panprint , a specialist label manufacturer supplying to the food and beverage industry, a unique and versatile finishing machine. John Lowther, general manager said, ‘The installation of the Rotocontrol machine has enabled us to process work in a different manner to help meet an ever changing and competitive market. It has met our design goals and the machine has already proved its worth on our production floor.’
