A worldwide trade in programme for the X-Rite eXact series of spectrophotometers has begun as X-Rite promote the use of advanced technology.
A rebate ranging from €550 to €800 will be made available to customers which can be used to purchase a standard, advanced or densitometer version of the eXact for each qualifying instrument they send in that appears on a specified list of more than 38 X-Rite, Gregtag Macbetg or competitors handheld instruments.
Customer will have until June 30, 2013 before the trade in programme expires. The exact spectrophotometer makes colour measurements quick and easy for brand managers, pre-media, ink suppliers, printers and converters while solving the widespread problem of measuring and matching colours on various substrates and surfaces.
With split second measurement tie and improved accuracy to simplify workflow, the eXact instrument is the first spectrophotometer in the industry to offer customers a way to measure true daylight conditions.
Using touch screen controls, the instruments can be set up to position key elements in the order preferred by operators and operations managers, giving users instant access to the tools they need. The platform uses X-Rite Graphic Arts Standard (XRGA) and Color Exchange Format (CxF) to communicate colour for easy data exchange and is the first spectrophotometer in the industry to offer customers a way to measure true daylight conditions.
The eXact series of spectrophotometers works with other X-Rite products, including Color iQC Print, InkFormulation 6, NetProfiler 3 and PantoneLIVE cloud-based colour service that allows brand owners to connect their whole supply chains.
Color iQC Print and PantoneLIVE can shave days off projects by making sure that all the links in the supply chain, from brand owners and designers to product production, have reliable and accurate colour information when and where they need it.
