Established in 1988, Skipton-based IST (UK) Ltd celebrated its 25th anniversary in March, at its UK offices on Otley Road in Skipton. The company, a German parented worldwide manufacturer of UV drying systems allied to the print and related industries, commemorated the 25 year milestone by gathering its UK and German staff of IST Metz at a champagne reception at St Andrews House. This was followed by a party and casino evening at the Coniston Cold Hotel.
To recognise the quarter of a century milestone, a Silver Birch tree was planted in the grounds of St Andrews, which houses the Skipton office. The VIPs of the day, Mr and Mrs Gerhard Metz, company founder and owners of IST Metz, carried out the ceremony.
