Nanocleaner NWC-1200 from Nanovis
After a successful introduction of its Nanocleaner at Labelexpo 2011 in Brussels, Swiss company Nanovis GmbH has now developed a larger version, the Nanocleaner NWC-1200.
The new machine employs the same concept of parts cleaning with simultaneous recycling of the detergent fluid. Its washing chamber measures 120 cm x 60 cm, large enough to accommodate a great number of ink reservoirs, doctor blades or chambered doctor blades, thereby reducing cleaning-related press downtime even with colour changes at several stations.
The NWC-1200 is suitable for UV, water-based and solvent flexo inks, and its non-volatile cleaning agent is constantly filtered through the integrated recycling system with the effect that it never needs to be replaced or disposed of. Only small amounts of dried paint residue remain to be discarded as industrial waste. Therefore, cleaning is not only eco-friendly and advantageous to staff health issues, it also offers decisive cost advantages in everyday use.
The new larger scale unit is easy and safe to operate and maintain. To further enhance the utility, a manual brush cleaning option or custom adapters, eg for pipe cleaning, are available. It needs only electricity and compressed air to operate with no air extraction is necessary.
