In a bid to offer clients a more strategic and stronger packaging and print service, Label Apeel has formed a partnership with packaging specialists, the Sherwood Press Group.
The relationship between the two businesses has developed over a number of years, but the new working partnership was sealed with a handshake at this year’s Packaging Innovations show at the NEC. Both companies already share several large clients so the alliance was a natural next step.

Stuart Kellock, managing director of Label Apeel, said that there is no real financial incentive behind the new relationship, it is purely about better service and the end product. ‘Jeremy at Sherwood contacted us after seeing our work and we hit it off straight away. Working closer to together just makes sense. We’ve got the same aspirations, processes and procedures; the same mindset. There’s great crossover with our services and it will mean we can work together to match colours and hit delivery dates.’
Jeremy Bacon, Sherwood Press Group CEO, added, ‘We are pleased to form this sales strategic alliance to widen our collective product offering and better meet our customers’ needs. Label Apeel is an excellent business that is at the forefront of flexographic and digital label printing. We have identified a number of innovative products and business solutions that will be exciting to develop.’
