To show its commitment to supporting the packaging industry, Vetaphone A/S has teamed up with French company Coating Plasma Industrie.
The move was made in response to the considerable growth in specialised films over the past few years. This partnership will combine Coating Plasma Industrie’s experience and knowledge of the chemistry of plasma with Vetaphone’s expertise in surface treatment.
Together the firms are releasing the Enhanced Atmospheric Surface Improvement (EASI). This plasma technology provides a wide range of benefits for the coating and converting processes; such as nano coating, anti-fog properties, low surface ageing and higher dyne levels. It can reduce production costs by eliminating the need to use expensive primer, while at the same time making the end film a much thinner and higher quality product.
