Manufacturer of woven carbon fibre doctoring systems for flexo printing applications, Absolute Engineering, has been bought by anilox supplier Pamarco Global Graphics.
The company produces doctoring systems for a wide range of flexo printing applications, producing both the widest and the fastest production speeds of any chambers available.
The company manufacture in the UK and also provide service and support centres worldwide. It supplies to the envelope, label, paper conversion, coating, flexible packaging, tissue and corrugated sectors.
Terry Ford, president, said, ‘We are delighted to bring Absolute into the Pamarco family. It is our second acquisition in 12 months and under Antony’s leadership and with Pamarco’s capital investment programme we see tremendous growth opportunity. Absolute is a perfect fit for Pamarco, and we see both companies benefiting from the deal.’

The purchase, which two weeks longer to finalise than previously expected, will enable a new phase of expansion, with additional products to be added to the 2G dual blade chamber, the UniBlade and the InkSave ink recovery system. It will also provide the resources to rapidly increase the manufacturing facilities in the UK.
