A range of adhesive tapes to aid specific industrial print production processes that offer higher performance characteristics has been introduced by tesa.
The tesa 4563 and tesa 4863 grip tapes provide improved adhesion to rollers on production lines. These are rubber coated fabric tapes with outstanding adhesive characteristics, with a surface that is highly resistant to sticky substances yet provides a reliable non-slip effect on smooth surfaces. In addition, the 4863 Embossed Grip Tape has a pimpled surface to maximise its resistance to the clogging action of sticky substances.
Both tapes are ideal for roller covering applications and in many cases a new covering may be applied without removing the rollers from the machine. They offer outstanding grip, repel substances used in the process (adhesives or inks), are highly resistant to wear, easily removable and offer high temperature resistance.
