Duran Machinery will be staging an open house at its facility in Istanbul, Turkey on 25-30November, demonstrating one of its new Omega Allpro 165 machines.
To show off the machine’s capabilities those converters attending are asked to supply samples of their own work to run on the Omega.
‘This will make the trials more interesting and relevant, so we would like sufficient blanks to be able to show job changes, and different types of blanks to show straightline, crashlock, and 4-and 6-corner work,’ said sales and marketing director, Pinar Kucukaras.
Omega Allpro-S
The Allpro series of folder gluers is capable of handling a wide range of substrates from cartonboard to corrugated. Versatile and capable of producing a complex range of carton styles, the series also minimises make ready times to maximise productivity.
Available in seven sizes, from 55 to 165 cm wide, the folder gluers produce straight line, double-wall, crashlock and optional four and six corner jobs, with single finger servo fold for high speed precision, as well as inner partition, Z-fold, conical crashlock and CD boxes at a maximum belt speed of 400 m/min.
Allpro folder gluers can be equipped with a braille embossing system, Turnpro, Nick Breaker, Ejection, and Pre-Feeder and Pack Station, allowing complete customisation to meet the specific requirements of each customer.
