At Labelexpo Europe, Spanish converter Interprint purchased the new M1 Digital Flexo press from Gidue that was exhibited on the manufacturer’s stand.

Founded in 1995, Interprint is one of the leading companies in the Spanish label market and specialises in the production of self-adhesive labels.

The company already had an entry level eight colour Gidue Combat MX Easy-to-go 370 mm wide press installed at the beginning of 2012. The second press is an M1 Digital Flexo 370 mm, eight colour flexo UV press with Exceldie technology for automated exchange of die-cutting stations, installed at Interprint’s plant in Leon shortly after Labelexpo.

The decision to make a second investment in Gidue technology was based on the introduction of Digital Flexo system. Tomas Iglesias, managing director, said, ‘With the M1 Digital Flexo we can let the operator just concentrate on the printing quality and organise the workflow around the press to achieve the highest productivity. We are sure that this additional investment will help us meet the growing market demand with ease.’
