Uteco Group CEO, Aldo Peretti, in conversation with The Queen
Celebrating its 35th anniversary on 30 April, International Greetings Group recently welcomed Her Majesty the Queen to its plant in Wales for the official launch of the second Uteco flexo press line. The Queen, along with the Duke of Edinburgh, saw the new Diamond HP press in action and further unveiled a plaque commemorating the occasion.
A world leader in the gift packaging, greetings and stationery product sector, IG Group has plants all over the world, with Uteco machines installed in the UK and the Netherlands.
Aldo Peretti, CEO of the Uteco Group, invited as a strategic technological partner by the executives and shareholders of IG Group, briefly explained the machine’s main features to the Queen and introduced the Uteco Group to the Duke of Edinburgh. The royal couple were also shown samples of the many products that IG Group make at the facility.
More than 80 of Uteco Group’s 2,700 machines installed worldwide have been sold in the UK, installed at a variety of customer sites, from multinational groups to small to medium converters, used for many advanced technological applications in different fields, such as film, paper and cardboard packaging and also banknote security.
