Bielloni Converting has introduced a new range of solventless laminators designed for the heavy web market for applications such as paper, paperboard, rigid polyester and PP.
The machine can perform at speeds of over 400 m/min and handle rolls up to 1500 mm. It is also suitable to laminate paper and foil at high speed.
The unwinder and rewinder are shaftless with variable widths. The lamination unit uses a sleeve system in order to quickly change the coating width. The system does not use a trolley for changing the coating roller, but sleeves are extracted through a cantilever system.
The coating and laminating units are designed to be close one to the other in order to laminate very thin foil or films to the heavy substrates without any creasing or wrinkles and to avoid any tension adjustment problem.
