Windmöller & Hölscher is celebrating after the German-based company sold its 300th Miraflex press to a US customer, Multifilm Packaging.
Multifilm manufactures flexible packaging for the food, beverage and confectionery markets and employs 60 people. The new 10 colour Miraflex CM will be added to the company’s two other W&H presses, including a Miraflex AM 8 and an 8 colour Primaflex.
Marcus Magnusson, director of sales and marketing, said, ‘We’re experiencing continued growth in several markets, which has made additional printing capacity necessary to serve our customers. Given our experience with W&H and success running jobs on our existing Primaflex and Miraflex presses, we felt confident that adding another Windmöller & Hölscher CI-press was the right step to take.’
The Windmöller & Hölscher product line encompasses blown and cast film equipment, flexographic and gravure printing presses, machines for surface finishing and for the processing of paper, films and woven plastic fabrics, as well as FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) packaging systems.
