A new UK customer for MPS, Abbey Labels has invested in an EF UV flexo press from the Dutch manufacturer. The press will be installed at Abbey’s factory in Bury St Edmunds, in Suffolk.
The EF UV multi substrate eight colour press has a web width of 340 mm and is equipped with an APC automation extension package, which contains servo positioning motors to automatically set the desired print pressure settings. Abbey Labels chairman Tom Allum commented, ‘Innovative technology, ease of operation and the ability to print on a wide range of substrates are the three main reasons why Abbey Labels opted for MPS. Every operator is able to work with the press as the print operations and settings are self-explanatory. In addition, the touchscreen and controls are simple to operate delivering consistent print and productivity results time and time again.’
