David Centelles, director of the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre, has been appointed as corporate marketing director for Comexi Group.
By taking up his new position Mr Centelles will become part of the Comexi Group Executive Committee. He will combine this new position with the Management of the Technological Centre, assumed in 2013.
Mr Centelles has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Girona, and has studied Industrial Marketing, Operations Management and International Business.
His professional career is tied to the packaging industry in both rigid and flexible packaging. He has undertaken different positions of responsibility since his arrival the group in 2006, from different positions in the technical service department and operations department leading up to management of the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre.
The group’s management has valued Mr Centelles’ knowledge of the market along with his global and transversal vision of the company. This was fundamental in naming him as corporate marketing director. Mr Centelles, said, ‘Comexi should provide a new value to the customer and in turn the sector, adapting itself to the market’s daily demands. For this reason, the analysis of the market, strategy definition and the conceptualization of new products should be the pillars that will strengthen our brand worldwide.’
