Held at a new location in Nottingham, the EFIA Awards 2015 saw the introduction of the new category, Outstanding Contribution to the Flexo Industry.
The first recipient was Geoff Walton, who delivered an emotional speech to great applause when he came on stage to receive the award from David Galton of Asahi Photoproducts UK and former EFIA chairman.
Currently the technical director of VCG Connect, Mr Walton is a well-known and respected figure in the flexo industry, former chairman of EFTA and dedicated to the promotion of the industry through public speaking and helping with numerous training programmes.
