Kent-based speciality paper and cartonboard supplier, Chapelton is celebrating its 30th year as a company this year, supplying and servicing the UK and Irish print and packaging sectors.
Renowned for high quality products, innovative materials and outstanding customer service, the company deals with many of the major global paper and board manufacturers, and supplies a range of high quality, paper and board products for a wide range of varying applications to its customers and end users.
Chapelton was started in 1985 by Geoff Skelton and Steve Antrim who both remain active in the business today. Over the last three decades the company has enjoyed great success, due in no small part to the hard work and experience of its employees.
Throughout the years the business has seen consistent growth in and beyond its mainstream markets of cartonboard and paper, and the company states that it is this ability to change and the foresight to adapt to market changes that has been behind its longevity, in a sector that has seen several casualties.
Board business development director, Neil Skelton, said, ‘We believe that our core values of being fair with both our mills and customers have stood us as a business in good stead over the past 30 years, and will do so long into the future.
‘We remain committed to offering the best customer service possible, whilst ensuring we remain at the forefront of our industry in terms of products that we offer.’
Chapelton also underwent a rebrand at the beginning of this year, with a new company logo and a new website all being launched to coincide with the redevelopment of the business.
