Following the recent acquisition by Bobst of the majority shares of Nuova Gidue, the Italian press manufacturer has changed its name to Bobst Firenze.
Erik Bothorel, head of Bobst web fed business unit said, ‘Integration of the narrow and mid web activities inside the BOBST Group is proceeding at full speed. Bobst Firenze is planning to reinforce its leadership in the Label market and to open new market opportunities.’
Federico d’Annunzio, former managing director of Nuova Gidueand now head of the Bobst narrow and mid web product line, added, ‘With Bobst we strengthen our market position. Labelexpo 2015 exhibition in Brussels is the perfect launch for our new growth strategy in the labels and packaging industry.’
Matteo Cardinotti, general manager of Bobst Firenze concluded, ‘Bobst established culture for service and efficiency in manufacturing is well supporting our innovation. We expect a very successful Labelexpo show.’
