Paul Bates has joined Hybrid Software
Hybrid Software has strengthened its UK and Ireland presence with the appointment of Paul Bates as sales manager. He will be supported by Derek Vann as solution engineer.
‘I’m delighted that we have been able to extend our team in the UK and Ireland with Paul and Derek,’ said managing director Jan Ruysschaert. ‘Both have a wealth of experience in their respective fields and join Hybrid at an exciting period. With the company having been very successful in mainland Europe over the last 12 months, we are now focusing on the UK and Ireland.’
Paul Bates joins from Sonoco Trident and previously worked for 15 years at Esko as business manager for north-west Europe. He said, ‘I have been watching Hybrid Software for some time, and I admire their strategy of keeping it simple and clean. Software development for print and packaging is always difficult but when you’re brave and start from afresh with a clean sheet of paper you can produce the products customers require and need today.’
Derek Vann has been involved in pre-press technology for more than 30 years, working as a studio and technical manager, before becoming a pre-press/IT consultant.
