The Working Without Waste seminars will tour Europe in February
By bringing together a group of key suppliers, the Working Without Waste series of roadshows aims to resolve the main sources of waste in the label printing and converting business.
Mike Fairley, director of strategic development at Labels & Labeling, will host the UK event at Staverton Park, in Daventry, on 10 February, and guest speaker Garry Mellor, BPIF Labels Vision in Print consulting engineer, will talk about Lean on Waste to start the day.
The second event, held on 17 February at Avery Dennison, Oegstgeest, the Netherlands, will be hosted by Andy Thomas, group managing editor at Tarsus Labels group. The guest speaker is Vincent Wiegel, lecturer of Lean management at the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen.
Eight experts from AB Graphic, Avery Dennison, AVT, CERM, Flint, GEW, GSE Dispensing and Martin Automatic will share their insights and in seven presentations explain what it takes to identify sources of waste and how to deal with them in order to be increasingly profitable and competitive.
