Pinning technology for clean transfer
A range of flexographic printing plate solutions have been announced by Asahi Photoproducts and will feature at drupa 2016.
‘We are looking forward to sharing our innovative flexo plate solutions with drupa visitors,’ said David Galton, sales director at Asahi Photoproducts Europe. ‘We are not resting on our laurels at Asahi. We’ll be bringing both new products and new concepts with us to drupa.’
The AFP-DCV digital flexo plate and the AWP-DEW plate solution will be on show at drupa. The DCV plate is specifically designed to produce deep colour and vibrant prints for water and solvent-based inks in flexible packaging applications. Deep colour vibrancy is delivered by a polymer solution and gives the best balance between highlight dots and deep vibrant colours within one plate.
The DEW plate solution incorporates the quality properties of DEF plates with the addition of a faster plate processing speed, making it ideal for large format flexible packaging operations with higher plate throughput. It has the same consistent plate dimensional stability for fixed colour palette printing, delivering significant quality and OEE benefits.
