The company’s new press platform will be revealed in Switzerland in September.
Gallus will present a new machine platform for label printing during the company’s second Innovation Days event this autumn.
At its headquarters in St. Gallen, Switzerland, Gallus will present the first pre-series model of a new machine generation: a conventional label printing machine, equipped with flexo-printing units, that is designed for the label and packaging market. The machine has a new platform construction and can be configured to meet customer’s requirements for the level of automation or the web width.
Gallus will launch the first series machines with a width of 440 mm. The modular platform principle makes it possible to configure everything from basic models to fully equipped versions with varying degrees of automation according to requirements and business model. With its maximum speed of 200 m/min and extremely short setup times, these printing presses are the company’s fastest narrow-web machines to date.
The sales launch for the company’s new machine platform will be at the Gallus Innovation Days held from 20 to 22 September 2016. First deliveries are scheduled for the second quarter of 2017.
