The Lombardi Synchroline 430 rotary flexo at Riber
Self-adhesive label manufacturer, Riber, has installed the Synchroline 430 rotary flexo with 10 colours and two converting machines at its site in Brescia in northern Italy.
The independent firm, run since 1997 by Michele Bersi and Paolo Rigato prints labels for industrial companies in the area. The company purchased the Synchroline in order to address the needs of a new customer, which requires labels printed on paper as well as polypropylene. This required a special configuration to be developed specifically for the company.
‘Synchroline is the only press currently able to ensure a changeover in a few minutes, thanks to a patented mechanical trick from Lombardi, that allows you to replace the print cylinder without requiring any changes to the supports,’ said Mr Rigato.
He added, ‘This machine is the flagship press for a company like ours. Our technology is always chosen as the best, not only in the press, but also in quality controls to ensure a 100% reliability.’
