Georg Müller-Hof, of Avery Dennison, is FINAT’s new treasurer
The international association for the label industry (FINAT) has added two new members to its governing board, following their election at the association’s general assembly at the European Label Forum in Amsterdam in June.
Georg Müller-Hof, senior director of marketing for Avery Dennison Label and Packaging Materials Europe (NL), has been appointed treasurer for the association, which has more than 500 members in over 50 countries.
Mr Müller-Hof replaces Andrew Crawford, who until recently was vice president of marketing materials for Avery Dennison Materials Group Europe. ‘We wish [Andrew] well as he leaves the label industry to explore fresh fields,’ said Mr Müller-Hof. ‘I look forward to pursuing a similar pathway in my capacity as FINAT treasurer.’
Marc Büttgenbach, CEO of Bizerba Labels & Consumables has also been elected to the board, replacing Frank Neumann of Achertäler Druckerei GmbH & Co. KG (DE). Mr Büttgenbach will focus on industry topics such as the Labelexpo events, globally harmonised industry test methods, parametric pricing, and UV/LED curing.
