Hexxa Flexible Packaging LLC, a growing printer in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, has installed a 10-colour, 430 mm EF multi-substrate MPS press equipped with an Automated Print Control package, UV dryers and four hot air units.
Specialising in printing and converting of flexible packaging, mainly using rotogravure printing technology, Hexxa will achieve higher productivity in shorter print runs with its new flexo press. The company offers PVC and PET shrink sleeves, OPP labels, solventless laminates up to three layers, and a range of film required for the food, beverage and cosmetic industry.
‘We needed a narrow web flexo press to offer more competitive prices on shorter print runs,’ explained Raja Gandhi, managing director and owner, who purchased the press following a demonstration at MPS’ headquarters in the Netherlands.
‘This sale is an exciting milestone for MPS, with entry into a new Middle East market,’ said Matthijs Stevens, MPS area sales manager. ‘This is just the beginning of more growth for MPS in the Middle East.’
On January 24 and 25, 2017, Hexxa Flexible Packaging will publically show their new MPS EF 430 press during an open house at their Ras Al Khaimah premises, with MPS also in attendance.
