Colortek passed the final audit to earn the FlexoExpert Certification
Having participated in Flint Group’s FlexoExpert Certification programme, Colortek has received FlexoExpert Certification for its platemaking process.
Consisting of three main steps – evaluation and training, implementation, and audit – the FlexoExpert Certification Programme provides the means by which plate makers can improve work flow processes to make more reliable and consistent plates every time. The certification serves as proof to customers that the company educates its employees with the best practices and procedures in the industry.
‘The FlexoExpert Certification program fits well within the scope of Colortek’s objective to align our competencies to provide the highest level of consistency and brand awareness through the products and services we provide,’ said John Kelly, vice-president of packaging. ‘The customised training and technical support from Flint Group has been outstanding, and we will continue to make use of these standards,’ he added.
Flint Group first introduced the programme in April 2016, and offers it globally to customers interested in gaining further education on the standardisation of the flexo platemaking process.
