Grupo Gondi, based in Mexico, has made an order of an extensive XXL-Sleeve package for its second Bobst 90SIX press, after being impresses with their performance on its first press.
Currently the company uses the XXL-Sleeves on its Bobst CI press for pre-print and liner board applications, and will soon being using them on a the new press that will be commissioned in 2017 at a different Grupo Gondi facility
Polywest supplied more than 200 sleeves for Mexico, and is currently in production of more than 300 sleeves for the US and Mexico. Since 2013 these XXL-Sleeves have been made in a light weight version. The biggest sleeve in 2011 had a weight of 150 kg whereas the same sleeve could be made with 80 kg today.
