Edale FL3 flexo press
Hungarian label producer Norma Printing has purchased a nine colour Edale FL3 with UV curing which will be used for the production of a variety of applications and specialities.
The large label and packaging manufacturer plans to use the press for the production of IML, self-adhesive, multi-layer and extra-large labels, as well as for laminates, hotmelt applications and specialities.
The FL3 has a 1m maximum print length for extra-large in-mould labels, a second web re-insertion for multi-layer labels, high capacity hot air drying for in-mould label coating and variable length sheeting (up to 1m repeat) with CAM profile.
Gábor Rostás, managing director, stated, ‘This step up prepares us for the future. With the Edale FL3, we can achieve lower maintenance costs and reduce waste as well as quicker colour and job changes.’
