The new BGM iSR label inspection slitter rewinder
Bradford-based Bar Graphic Machinery sold a total of three finishing machines to Amberley Adhesive Labels last year. The new BGM iSR label inspection slitter rewinder model was chosen for its ability to work with a wide range of challenging substrates.
Following dedicated tests in 2017 working with substrates supplied by Amberley, the iSR label inspection slitter rewinder was selected and successfully installed six weeks later at the label printer’s facility in Blandford, Dorset. Within months Amberley decided to go ahead and place an order for an additional two machines.
‘We spent a considerable amount of time researching which finishing equipment would be the best solution for finishing our wide variety of substrates,’ said Dorota Stanczyk-Racinowska, operations manager. ‘Not only was it important that the equipment was good; it was imperative that we chose a manufacture that we could rely on. Our new finishing machines are delivering more than we could ever wish for.’
The BGM Elite iSR is a cost-effective, compact and robust free-standing label inspection slitter rewinder, boasting standard high specification features such as automatic unwind braking with an adjustable roll end, reversible rewind and machine diagnostics. It is fast and highly energy-efficient, with speeds of up to 300m/min running on a 13 amp 230V plug.
